COVID-19 Response

COVID-19 has caused many problems to many people. To combat COVID-19, a number of communities shut down access to their neighborhoods, and permission was required to leave (and come back) by proving you had essential business to attend to. This caused some vulnerable persons difficulty in getting groceries and supplies.

We responded by partnering with local health centres in Wiky, AOK and M’Chigeeng First Nations, and a couple of other groups to find a need we can fill.

So far we have provided care packages of diapers, baby food, formula, baby food blenders, bottle sanitizers, hygiene kits and milk vouchers to many wonderful families.

We be continuing throughout the summer, while we are preparing for some back to school (whatever that will look like!) supplies and backpacks.
